it started with an idea

We searched for something that didn’t exist, so we created it ourselves. We love hunting for the best of the best, but we love sharing it even more.

Meet Julia

founder story

Julia Zaborowski-Casper is the Founder of Danrie, and more importantly, a mom of two (plus a dog!).

After years building a successful consulting career, Julia embarked on a six-year role as Chief Mom Officer. During her time at home, she developed a deep appreciation for the daily adventure of parenting. In 2022, she decided to pursue a longtime dream and founded Danrie, the expertly-curated children’s boutique she always wished existed. Julia and her family divide their time between New York City and East Hampton, regularly packing and unpacking the car with (way too much) “stuff for the kids” to go between!

Julia Casper, Founder and CEO of Danrie

Julia (she/her) lives in New York City with her husband Phil and kids Jordan and Dorie (Jor-dan and Do-rie), and their dog Winkie. Julia is all about balance. When she’s not snacking on Sour Patch Kids, she can be found grabbing a green juice and practicing yoga at Vera Yoga in Tribeca.

Caroline Mannon, Danrie

Caroline is Virginia-born but calls the Lower East Side of Manhattan home. She is on the buying + merchandising team but doubles as Danrie gift-wrapper extraordinaire. In her free time, Caroline loves touring the city for the best desserts NYC has to offer — if you have any chocolate chip cookie recs send ‘em her way!

Jaimie Geier, VP of Ecommerce at Danrie in Manhattan

Jaimie works on all things digital & ecommerce related here at Danrie, which stems from her extensive experience in online shopping. She’s also incredibly skilled at watching Netflix, and sitting on a beach. Both of which she’s likely doing with her dog, Moose.

Kerry is a Brooklyn-born native who now lives in Queens with her husband James, her sons RJ & Brenainn and their dog, Roxie. Kerry loves a good picnic in the park and also enjoys daily NYT mini crossword competitions with her family.

Liz lives in Manhattan with her husband, Cooper, and their son Parker. Aside from searching far and wide to bring truly special items to Danrie, you can generally find her watching Law & Order while scouring the internet shopping for her own closet.
